What are our shop hours?

We are open Mondays through Fridays 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM, or until the last fur kid goes home. We are closed on all statutory holidays.

Why vaccinations are mandatory?

Vaccinations are needed as a preventative measure to protect your fur kid and the other fur kids’ health while they interact.

All fur kids must have up-to-date vaccinations. Owners must submit proof from their veterinarian that they have received vaccinations.

Besides rabies, the other vaccines required are: distemper, hepatitis, parainfluenza, & parvovirus. These vaccinations are commonly referred to as DHPP or DAPP or core vaccines.  External parasite protection as prescribed by a veterinarian is also mandatory all year round.  Typically this protection is either a monthly topical application of a liquid to the skin between the shoulder blades or a tablet to be swallowed.

Bordatella or kennel cough vaccination is optional.

Why do we require fur kids to be spayed/neutered

Dog behaviours change once they reach sexual maturity. Mounting and aggressive / possessive reactions can come into play. This is why we require all fur kids to be altered after 6 months of age.

Why do we walk?

We walk because it is the most natural behaviour for fur kids, as pack animals, to perform together. Walking provides exercise and social stimulation in a positive and structured manner.

Do you let them go outside for potty breaks?

We provide the fur kids a minimum of three opportunities to go outside and go potty…though if we notice a fur kid doing ‘the potty dance’ we never hesitate to bring them outside immediately.

Why don’t we use kennels?

Our facility does not use kennels because we feel fur kids in open play areas benefit from the social stimulation as well learn to appropriately interact with one another in a fun, positive and respectable manner.

How often does my fur kid have to come?

We prefer your fur kid to come a minimum of twice a week to ensure forward, positive interaction. Anything less than twice a week can be like the first day of school over and over, and that can be more stressful than beneficial for the fur kid.

Can you feed my fur kid lunch and/or administer medication?

If you would like your fur kid to eat while at daycare you may supply their food in a marked container with any necessary instruction.

Why are reservations important?

We require reservations in order to appropriately staff to ensure both fur kids and humans are safe and having a great time!
